Angry Dad Calls Daughter “Stupid 18-Year-Old Girl” in Heated Bodycam Footage After Her Arrest

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — Newly released bodycam footage shows an irate father berating police officers at the station after his 18-year-old daughter’s arrest in connection with a deadly 2022 car crash.

Steven Shirilla arrived at the Strongsville Police Department shortly after Mackenzie Shirilla was taken into custody on November 4, 2022. In the video, he repeatedly demanded to speak with her and warned officers not to question her.

When an officer reminded him that Mackenzie, as an 18-year-old, could speak for herself, Steven replied: “Yeah, but she’s a dumb 18-year-old.”

Mackenzie Shirilla was later convicted of multiple counts of murder and vehicular homicide for a July 2022 crash in which she drove nearly 100 mph into a brick building, killing her boyfriend Dominic Russo, 20, and their friend Davion Flanagan, 19.
